Power training for older people
We all know that weight lifting has become popular with senior citizens, whether it is using a pair of dumbbells or going to a gym. It is well documented that lifting weights is great for your health whether you are young or not young. But what if you want a little more challenge than just doing your regular workout. Weightlifting can mean different things to different people. There are some folks who lift to tone their body or go a step further and go for intense bodybuilding and there are some who want to build up their strength by lifting as much weight as they can. This would be considered power lifting where your goal is to build your strength to increase the weight that you lift.
